Craftyangel's very first blog post!

Welcome to Craftyangel!  This is sooooo exciting,  my first blog post ever.  

I am literally sat here pinching myself as I cannot believe that I'm actually realising my dream... my very own sewing studio (not my first blog post lol!).  

I absolutely love all things creative and always have.  I've been sewing and creating since I was little girl (thanks to both of my Grandma's) and Craftyangel has come about, not only as a result of this, but...oh yes...the constant nagging, sorry, encouragement of my friends and family to just get on a do it officially! 

I relish in making items not only for me, but for my home, my family and friends.  I love the idea of having those little 'unique' pieces here and there.  With every item I create, I give a little piece of me, my time and my love...which is much better than mass produced tat.  Seriously, why buy something for £20 when you can make it yourself for £120 - lol (if you already have that 'creative bug' you'll know exactly what I mean)!

Back in February this year an opportunity came my way - all the planets aligned and everything just seemed to click into place and I realised then that Craftyangel really was meant to be.

I am so looking forward to sharing my passion for sewing with you, sharing in your excitement as you create something for the first time, or cheering on those of you seasoned sewers who are already out there.  

Most of all I am really excited about all the new like minded Craftyangel friends I am about to make!
