Come and learn to crochet at this Beginners Crochet Class where you will learn all of the basics and get started on a gorgeous crochet granny square.
This workshop is taught by Sue Maton, designer at The Mercerie, and it’s suitable for absolute beginners and anyone wanting to refresh their crochet skills.
Sue is a qualified teacher with over 20 years experience teaching learners of all ages and abilities.
"I have lots of patience and I’ll make sure you gain a good working knowledge of basic crochet stitches – in a friendly and supportive environment.
You’ll learn how to hold the yarn and the hook in a way that suits you, how to work double crochets, half trebles and trebles, and you’ll also learn how to read a simple crochet diagram; demystifying all those funny little marks and squiggles. You will leave inspired and with the confidence to continue developing your skills at home.
The price includes gorgeous, Rowan yarn and a crochet hook.
